Bellman - Jeddah Marriott Hotel

Greet and escort guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to guests (., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors. Assist Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests and services, as needed.



Responsibilities





· To report on time wearing complete uniform with name badge.



· Ensure pro-active hospitality standard (GUEST) is used in every guest interaction.

· To champion assistance in carrying guest luggage in and out of the hotel.

· Be knowledgeable about the facilities of the hotel and the related services provided.

· Be knowledgeable about local attractions, offices, nearby locations frequently

asked by guest.

· Able to room guest with all information related to guest stays.

· Be aware of Hotel’s security, fire and safety procedures.

· Able to drive all types of vehicle to provide valet service as required by the guest.

· Ensure proper log is maintain for all stored luggage

· Ensure proper handling of guest message, mails, faxes and parcels are in placed,

logged and counter signed.

· Able to handle ticket confirmation.

· To create positive first impression at all times by high standard of personal

appearance and hygiene. Keep work areas clean and tidy.

· Maintain a well-stocked first aid kit.

· Maintain open line of communication by actively participate in the daily briefing.

· Champion STS basics and keep it alive.

· Attend meetings as designated.(monthly departmental meeting)

· Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management that

the associate is capable of performing.
