Major private equity group seeking a Managing Director or Director to further support the CIO.
With new capital of over US$ invested over the last two years and stable IRRs of 16% achieved with mainly asset backed investments this firm has been exceptionally busy and there is no sign of the letting up of the pace. As such the group is seeking to hire a new director, or a managing director to take on some of the weight of their new investment activities and their active portfolio management strategy. The firm manages the assets of significant regionally based institutions in a growth focused large cap strategy focusing on several key sectors determined by a detailed and scientific top down macro strategy. Largely aimed at North America with some other assets in Europe and the Middle East the group aims frequently at often real estate asset backed sectors with a strong macro business story combined with underlying deep fundamental analysis of any individual investment. They aim to take majority ownership and execute a range of acquisition strategies from large cap public to private, buy and build, to mezzanine and convertibles. Key sectors include healthcare, education and consumer/retail.
With so much capital at stake and with the necessity to retain the excellence of performance and professionalism the firm is seeking a top tier senior professional to join the team. They are open to recruiting an exceptional individual either as a director who will bring superb origination, screening and deal execution skills or a managing director who can handle both the prior as well as take an active position as a board member on investee companies.
