Reporting to the Merchandise Director this is a fabulous opportunity to join Aura, an exciting furniture and home fashion brand whose offices are in the Diplomatic Quarter of Riyadh.
As the Junior Merchandiser your main tasks would be:
*Processing data related to the creation of items and orders on in-house systems
* Liaising with suppliers on deliveries, critical path issues and ensuring proper import documentation is received in timely manner.
* Analysis of all related sales/stock information and production of relevant reports.
*Inter-store and warehouse stock analysis to recommend allocations to maximize sales and arrange stock transfers back to warehouse when required.
*Ensure goods are delivered to the store in a timely manner, and often check the merchandise when it arrives.
* Monitoring stock transfers and error adjustments, Barcode validations and advise stores of mark ups and downs.
* Conducting market and competitor research
* Assisting with the planning of advertising displays and sales promotions, ensuring published photos and information are accurate.
* Liaising with distribution centre/warehouse on deliveries and distribution.
* Liaising with service providers to ensure shipment and custom clearing processes are done effectively according to agreed timelines.
* Produce and maintain Product Master and Technical specification files
* Coordinate and advise on activities to facilitate supplier claims, refunds, etc. with suppliers in various countries
* Review documents and invoices from service vendors (brokers and freight forwarders) for regulatory compliance and billing accuracy.
* Coordinating with a number of cross-functional teams.
