• Install, update and support Exchange servers
• Configure, administrate, secure and monitor e-mail services: SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4, active sync…etc.
• Perform all tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements regarding Exchange-based messaging and collaboration availability and security; including those involving user accounts, shared folders/calendars, mailing lists, and Outlook Web Access.
• Implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure Exchange server security through secure access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.
• Manage Exchange database(s), antivirus applications, messaging filtering, and error log tracking.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.
• Ensure that Exchange server implementations comply with policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.
• Perform message archiving, retrieval, and deletion according to best-practices for maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve problems affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability.
• Install, upgrade and support VOIP software
• Generate users' accounts for new employees
• Design, configure, implement and administrate GP
• Design, configure, implement and populate security policies for PCs and notebooks
• Monitor security violations
• Administrate anti-spam and anti-virus software solutions
• Apply the designed disaster recovery plan
• Administration and operations of Linux and windows servers
• Administration and operation of core storage assets at a data center
• Design, configure and implement systems and application software
• Design, configure and implement systems and application software
• Configuration and maintenance of network services such as DNS, DHCP
• Installs patches and upgrades to systems and software.
• Install support, maintain, and monitor SAN and NAS storage systems
• Manages systems integration testing, load/stress testing, and user acceptance testing processes.
• Provide web and FTP administration support
• Create shell scripts as required
• Plan, Schedule and achieve backups and restores
• Monitor server logs and take proper actions whenever needed
• Configure and manage file systems
• Manages scalability, availability, and performance of servers
• Assist in planning, design and implementing storage and computing solutions in virtual environments with a focus on cloud computing and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) methodology
• Apply the designed disaster recovery plan .
