Laureate Vocational Saudi Arabia (LVSA) is part of the Laureate International Universities Network the world’s largest global education provider with more than 800,000 students in over 75 institutions across 30 countries and online. LVSA has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2009 with over 300 employees and currently operates seven vocational campuses in Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Kharj (south of Riyadh) and Rabigh (north of Jeddah) Medina and Wadi Dawasir. These vocational colleges offer two and three-year technical training programs to Saudi students between the ages of 18-23 that will lead to vocational qualifications at a range of levels in a variety of subjects. The new colleges will eventually grow to a capacity of 12,000 students.
The primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.
• Monitoring daily students ‘ attendance and manage the process of advising, warning and students’ dismissal.
• Council / advise students and trying to solve issues / problems they may face in the institute in case of escalation.
• Managing (Institutes’ students affairs coordinators / administrator) and ensure the quality of service provided to students / faculty.
• Meeting and updating parents on regular basis if needed.
• Develop, update and review relevant policies and guidelines in coordination with directors, institute executive director and faculty.
• Oversee work placements of students
• Contact companies and agencies for possible placements of students
• Update the students database on a regular basis to keep track of trainees
• Liaise with all parties (Director of Academic Support / companies / students) on a regular basis.
• Performs other similar or related duties as assigned by the Director of Academic Support
