Quality assurance officer work with other staff within organizations to determine and establish procedures and quality standards and to monitor these against agreed targets. Established and maintained company compliance to QMS ISO 9001:2008 and ASME standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of the job include:
Act as procurement controller,
Suppliers / Vendors Controller,
Suppliers Sourcing and Prequalification,

Ø
Ø ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
Ø working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
Ø writing management/technical reports and customers’ charters
Ø determining training needs
Ø acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality
Ø directing objectives to maximize profitability
Ø recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
Ø monitoring performance
Ø Supervising technical or inspector.
Ø Conduct internal audit
Ø Act as management representatives for the company.
Ø assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
Ø setting customer service standards
Ø determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications
Ø investigating and setting standards for quality
skills:
· Familiar With Metallurgy
· Fabrication Of Boiler And Pressure Vessels
· Knowledge Of Relevant Standard Such As Asme, Astm, Iso, Bs Api And UL
