Service Operations Manager

Role Objective:



To monitor/manage system changes/deployment and on-going operation of our services and ensure that performance defects are prevented and, where they occur, are resolved as promptly and effectively as possible.



Brief Role Responsibilities:



Strategic Service Management:



• Review the capabilities (processes, methods,skills) applied by all partners involved in delivering the service and identify systemic weaknesses and risks to the service.



• Set up and agree a process for monitoring service delivery by vendor



• Determine mitigation measures and work with all parties to implement them and improve their service delivery capability.





Service Delivery:



• Monitor the process, timing and content of releasing new or enhanced services.



• Monitor service delivery incidents and review root causes and measures taken to resolve them.







Middle Management Role:



• Accountable for and has the authority over department’s unit to validate the adherence to policies, procedures and short term plans.



• Responsible for constant support, encouragement and motivation towards team members.



• Share suggestions and problem solving techniques to top level management as a role of being an intermediary between top and 1st line management.
