• Skilled in COBOL program development as per standard methodologies (ex: CMM etc., ) in financial industry domain
• Programmer/Analyst for design, development, testing, rollout and implementation of new system and maintenance of support of existing systems
• Analysis and Design of software solutions, participate in development of functional specifications
• Participate in user requirements gathering and scoping
• Test the requisite programs along with the associated interfaces
• Prepare test plans for unit test and SIT
• Perform SIT/UAT issue fixing, root cause analysis
• Interact with users during UAT to ensure they are trained in the requested functionality.
• Develop programs as per laid down standards and procedures of the relevant Financial Institution.
• Analyse and fine tune and optimize programs to work within laid down performance thresholds.
• Skilled in SQL language in any RDBMS
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
