Reporting to the Operation Director, the key purpose of the Demand Planner is to manage and continually strive to improve the demand planning process including forecasting, product launch planning, supply sourcing from manufacturing sites, order management & Distribution.
In addition other key accountabilities will include:
• Driving the forecasting process to achieve the minimum SKU level forecast in accordance with the S&OP process.
• Coordinate statistical and judgmental forecast components with marketing, consumer development and sales teams.
• Generate the net requirements for the replenishment of finished goods at the local warehouses.
• Responsibility for validating and converting forecasts into net requirement and ensuring that it drives local inventory objectives to ensure adequate stock.
