DAR Masdar is one of the main divisions of Dar Al Riyadh Group, providing engineered products and economic solutions in the fields of Electrical, Communication, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Oilfield Equipment catering to the process & utilities requirements of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, Chemical and other Industrial & Institutional Clients.
Your primary mission details and responsibilities is to :
Ensure Dar Masdar achieves its long term objectives through a strong competitive position, a balanced portfolio, operational excellence and customer satisfaction
Ensure employees are motivated, loyal, appropriately compensated and have the required skill level
Ensure accurate manpower planning, including recruitment administration and proactive coordination with support functions
Translate and deploy the group portfolio strategy for the division
Optimize the market position of the division in the KSA market
Contribute actively to the group strategy synergy programs and the group business planning process
Manage and optimize the profitability of the division
Seek for new market opportunities within the business scope of the division
Ensure operational excellence in through quality management programs
Continuously improve risk management programs and procedures
Ensure customer satisfaction and drive customer loyalty
Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency through optimal processes
Lead the business planning process and ensure timely implementation of the annual business plan through operational systems and procedures
Give strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the management team to drive commercial growth
Optimize the product / services portfolio by closing strategic deals with new partners / vendors
Ensure the financial viability and cost structure is regularly analyzed and appropriate measures are taken to monitor and reduce costs in relation to the operations
Ensure decisions of the Management Committee are communicated to all levels of the organization and are implemented
Chair weekly Management Team Meetings to ensure close operational management of all activities
Introduce Dar Masdar to new high potential customers and maintain effective relationships with existing customers
Report to the management about the vital information on the company’s overall performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Monitor the sales budget progress and report on business development plans / activities
Manage staff motivation programs leading to increase productivity, loyalty and retention
Ensure an increased share of qualified Saudi nationals
Person:
To Excel in this role you must have the following experience and qualifications and skills:
General Management experience in a complex and dynamic B2B environment
Experience with technological products and/or system integration in the field of construction engineering in the fields of building, infrastructure, oil, gas & utilities and industry
Full knowledge and understanding of a company-wide business planning process
Experience of working across an international remit
Ideally experience of working in a matrix organization
Proven track record in implementing successful business programs
Solid change management experience with track record of gaining stakeholder buy-in at the highest level
Excellent leadership skills
Result oriented and strong business-development skills
Planning, organization and process management competences
Effective negotiation and closing skills
Able to prioritize and manage competing pressures
To excel in this role, you will possess ideally an MBA or Master of relative field
Fluency in English
Outstanding communication skills with a diplomatic manner
