Due to continued growth we are looking to hire a Project Manager for our operations in Saudi Arabia
Position Summary (Role):
- Internally guides engagement/project teams to achieve desired goals including timelines, process, budget, quality, resource and risk management, customer satisfaction; he/she also assists BDM in defining project scope, including setting performance targets, project management and execution plan, cost estimates, and other issues both during and after the business development process.
- Externally works with customers, that can be very different in size from small to large multinational corporations, in different strategic targeted industries (., Oil & Gas, Transportation, Manufacturing, large governmental clients, etc.),
Ensuring that for each assigned project, the team and the client have common perceptions on above items and assists clients further in creating or improving business and organizational managing procedures and processes to improve performance in the targeted practice areas;
The Project Manager is personally billable and has specific targets for the utilization of their billable/non-billable time.
Responsibilities (Principle Activities):
Project Defining: Ensuring a full understanding of the scope, objectives, deliverables, risk, cost, assessing availability and commitment of allocated resources, and time, getting documented agreement of the approach from all implied managers, client and key stakeholders to ensure viability and analyzing and obtaining metrics on cost, delivery, quality, and client satisfaction to maximize project value.
Project Planning: Building a feasible project work plan, sequencing all activities distributing time allocation per resource for each task, assigning data collection for metrics, prioritizing and aligning schedule, modifying project if needed, tracking progress and scope control, implementing corrective actions and evaluating remaining work to keep project completion within optimum original effort/ time/ cost/ duration/desired quality.
Anticipating issues, risk identification, determining their impact on the project, examining alternatives, and involving the correct people to make the best decisions for quick resolution in to maintain project schedule and progress avoiding adverse impact.
Accountable In conjunction with the BDM, for managing the deployment of the delivery resources, for monitoring quality, leading and directing teams, for profitability and client satisfaction and for internal account reviews with DSS leadership.
Communication: Implementing a communication plan to keep all team members, service stakeholders and customer teams informed of the status/progress, to keep the project on track avoiding problems arising from different level expectation.
Documentation: Creating an effective documentation process fixing rules to organize, control, store, name, prepare, access, retrieve, secure, track changes and create back ups,standard templates using common tools.
Outcome: Managing project execution and quality satisfaction process to ensure the project and deliverables meet or exceed the client’s requirements and expectations are met and measured using appropriate tools.
