As Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the Commissioning and Testing of the system in cooperation with the customer representatives.
As a crucial part of the team you will be also responsible for:
- Installation and set up of Substation Automation System on site. Carry out panel scheme testing and make necessary alterations where applicable.
-Carry out System Acceptance Tests as per Approved Test Forms, system modification and alterations requirements.
-Conduct point to point testing with applicable standards and protocols (e.g. IEC61850, IEC-101, IEC-104) either by point initiation or by using protocol simulators.
-Carry out IED Configuration modification where applicable to meet SAS requirements and client site training for SA systems.
-Ensuring the correct function of the system in accordance with the specifications and the scope of supply.
-Spot and immediately report any deviations to the engineering specifications, inputs or targets and to plan corrective actions and to enforce them in cooperation with ABB project manager or lead engineer.
-Ensures that all work done within his fields of activities is carried out according to site safety regulations and procedures to avoid any accidents.
