Brand Manager / Marketing Specialist

Report to Direct Manager Primary Objectives and Tasks 1. Pro-actively manage all aspects of the brands to achieve existing and new business opportunities 2. Achieve annual brand share targets 3. Develop and agree with management annual Brand Plans 4. Complete Brand Plans activities on-time and to budget Summary of Duties and Responsibilities 1. Develop 3 year Strategic Brand Development Plans each year 2. Develop and implement annual Brand Plans on time 3. Achieve IMS targets by brand 4. Support all relevant sales teams (including HoReCa) 5. Complete new product feasibility studies and launch new products where relevant to the sales team and trade 6. Complete marketing proposal briefs for approval in advance of all activity 7. Track all trade and marketing activities results and effectiveness 8. Control and monitor marketing budgets by brand 9. Pro-actively propose means to develop the brand whether in design, support, new items, etc and research these ideas where necessary 10. Ensure shelf life brand items write-offs, expiring goods, etc are below company targets and take action in advance to company guidelines 11. Control pos materials and communicate materials to sales/merchandisers 12. Gather competitor and market information 13. Complete monthly brand reports
