1. Develop the Industrial Hygiene procedures, objectives and targets based on the company Hygiene policy.
2. Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with Industrial Hygiene standards and guidelines and report any deviations from Hygiene policies and procedures.
3. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in operations plant and maintenance and operations processes in order to control occupational health risks. Develop and implement effective Industrial Hygiene programs which ensure compliance with standards/codes.
4. Lead in conducting complex analysis on products and operations processes to determine their compliance with Industrial Hygiene standards and report any deviation from standards.
5. Conduct industrial hygiene inspection and surveys for the Company facilities and provides recommendations for engineering controls.
6. Coordinate with Health Ministry and other organizations, which deal with industrial hygiene issues.
7. Exchange reports, suggestions and recommendations with international associations in terms of using specific equipment or materials which could help Yasref’ to avoid occupational health risks.
8. Prepare annual report on occupational health illnesses and suggestion to prevent recurrence of such problems.
9. Evaluate hazardous chemical and physical conditions and practices and develop ways to control and constantly measure those to reduce occupational health risks in compliance with applicable industry standards procedures and regulations. Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned or requested by his superior.
10. Evaluate hazard control systems on a constant basis to ensure their ability to reduce occupational health risks. Prepare daily and/or weekly inspection reports, which include conditions of inspected area, inspection date and time, etc.
11. Provide consultations in industrial hygiene.
12. Ensure that all activities of the Section/Unit are carried out in accordance with the Yasref’s safety policies and procedures.
13. Prepare requisitions and arranges for material inspection before delivery.
14. Identify and assist in troubleshooting, investigation, and root cause analyses of Industrial Hygiene problems.
15. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by his direct supervisor.
