1. Develop the Occupational Health procedures, objectives and targets based of international Occupational Health standards and company Health, Safety and Environment policy.
2. Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with Occupational Health standards and guidelines and report any deviations from policies and procedures.
3. Carry out the preventive health measures, promotion of healthy living and working conditions. Workforce and workplace monitoring and health need assessment. Work on risk assessment and risk management.
4. Carry out complex Occupational Health studies and surveys. Advises on potential hazards arising from any current or proposed process or operation and recommends control measures necessary to minimize the exposure to harmful environmental factors.
5. Reviews the established occupational health standard to be applicable for the Company. Ensures that such standards are applied correctly.
6. Reviews plans for new projects and provides advice and recommendations on the Occupational Health aspects that should be specified in the relevant tenders.
7. Conducts occupational health lectures. Specifies the specification and description of various types of personnel protective equipment.
8. Carries out other related duties such as attending safety committee, assisting the Purchase Inspection and Safety Depts. in the selection and testing of new equipment and chemicals, writing reports and maintaining educational films and training.
9. Develop procedures and controls for hearing, vision, radiation etc. tests. to ensure proper protection of YASREF and contractor employees.
10. Identify and assist in troubleshooting, investigation, and root cause analyses of Occupational Health problems.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by his direct supervisor
