To plan and implement Energy Cost Conservation for Hotel
To ensure effective Preventive Maintenance Programs
To ensure safety of Hotel guests and staff
Monitor and control engineering budget and expenses.
To ensure that the engineering store, purchase requisition and inventory procedures are well implemented.
Proper planning of Engineering Maintenance Schedule to avoid Equipments and Machines breakdown.
Immediate action to the problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.
Conducts walks-through and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems BMS system and other related equipment.
Assigns and verifies completion of all routine maintenance on public areas, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house. Assigns and verifies completion of all repairs, replacement and renovations projects to offices and employee work areas.
Assist on hiring, planning and conduct trainings, supervisions and disciplines of department staff under the direction and approval of chief engineer.
Adheres to all Corporate required purchasing policies and controls, to include all outside contractor bids, budgets and schedules. Maintains capital expenditures improvement file. Follows prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by Hotel
Maintains effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs, conducting special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.
Informs Chief Engineer on regular basis, regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure (s), related systems and equipment offering prudent and cost effective proposals for maintaining same. Access and inputs information into a computer and generates reports.
Attend meetings in the absence of Chief Engineer as required and scheduled by the Executive Management.
To ensure safety and satisfactions of the guests.
To keep hospitality and good relationships with the guest at all time.
