A leading multi-national main contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced Safety Manager for a major new airport project in Saudi Arabia.
Duties:
· Prepare and agree, together with the Project Director, a HSE Plan, which is in accordance with the contract requirements and will achieve a Zero Accident Policy;
· Responsible for implementing, enforcing and monitoring the HSE Plan;
· Responsible that a Zero accident environment is achieved;
· Responsible for monitoring any measures to ensure the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements according to contract conditions;
· Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager Production or his delegate for sufficient staffing to be integrated in the production teams to ensure proper safety monitoring during Design, Execution and Commissioning/Testing.
· Responsible for organizing and chair regular Safety Meetings;
· Report to the Project Director on any Safety, Health or Environmental issue.
