• Supervision and technical guidance to group of technicians for cost effective output.
• Allocating manpower and other resources systematically to optimize productive utilization time.
• Responsible for repair (overhauling), Testing & Troubleshooting of Engine, Transmission, Torque converter, Hydraulic Pumps and other machine components on and off the site.
• Providing maintenance (Reactive, Preventive, predictive, condition based, proactive), trouble-shooting and repair support for Equipments (Heavy Earthmoving Equipment, Cars, Tractors, etc.).
• Forecasting spare parts requirement, Planning and follow up with Material Management Department to ensure full availability of material to support planned and unplanned repair & maintenance as well as inventory control.
• Failure analysis of components by RCA, FTA, using CMMS (IBS), using electronic diagnostic devices and latest software like CAT-ET, MTU DDER, VIM etc. Implementing corrective measures to avoid such failures to improving fleet reliability.
• House-keeping, Record keeping and reporting regularly key production, technical and performance data, . operating conditions, personnel conditions and safety conditions, to the General Manager (Workshop).
• Imparting training to various service personnel on technical, operational and safety updates.
