Asset Development
•Prepare high level initial budgetary estimate for review by., Operations Mgr - time & cost budgets in line with the Business Plan
•Detail out budgetary estimates based on high level quotes from Contractors
•Shortlist Engineering Consulting firms & Construction Contractors based on a tender process
•Assume overall responsibility of project design
•Guide & coordinate with the Engineering Consulting team in planning and analysis of
- project design and drawings
- getting Govt. approvals on Project Drawings
•Prepare relevant internal applications & coordinate with the Engineering Consulting firm to get Govt. approvals
•Monitor Construction progress vis-à-vis planned time & cost budgets
•Ensure overall Project Quality compliance
Contract Management
•Negotiate terms & conditions of Contract & ensure compliance
•Advertise tender for its need & issue necessary tender documents
•Evaluate tender bids to shortlist contractors
•Negotiate terms & conditions, formulate contract (in liaison with Group Legal Department)
•Ensure adherence to terms of the contract
•Settlement of dues with contractors, if any, after closeout
Reporting
•Formulate regular reports on actual time & cost vis-à-vis budget and schedule
•Project handover certificates
•Project Financial Closure documents
People Management
•Co-ordinate & manage internal resources
•Coordinate with external teams - Engineering Consulting firm and Contractors
•Conduct regular project progress review meetings with internal team & external agencies involved
