ABOUT THIS JOB



Bring added value in HS&E application to the Integrated Operations Project.

Verify and report operational compliance to client and BHIO HS&E requirements

Support HS&E training and safety campaigns

Provide fill-in coverage at site where needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Perform work in accordance to Baker Hughes HS&E policies and procedures.

Assist the Project Team to implement and monitor HS&E systems.

Promote, with management, a safety culture within the workplace.

Support delivery and roll out of HS&E initiatives as requested by the BHIO HSE Manager

Communication of incident data and other hazard related information to all rig locations

Assist and support audit follow up and action – especially across multiple rig locations

Provide analysis of observation data at rig level to assist in identifying trends

Provision of field based training to BHIO and contractor crews to ensure training needs and compliance schedules are met

Provide cover for Field HS&E Specialist where required

Ensure that all incidents, accidents and near misses are reported immediately.

Recommend activities and changes to; promote Best Practice, eliminate or reduce actual and potential losses.

Follow up and audit of incident corrective/preventive action plans for progress and effectiveness

Further responsibilities as may be defined by the BHIO Management System procedures.

Other duties / tasks as deemed required by the BHIO HSE Manager

Perform duties at various Project Related locations where requested.

Utilize good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across the team – internal, sub-contractors, and client where required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS





BSC, BE Graduate Engineer with HSE Certifications (NEBOSH)

Minimum Experience of 5 Years in oil drilling field

Arabic Speaking is an advantage
