A logistics coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the logistics process, is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of finished consignment from the warehouse, and the delivery of packages to the assigned route, as well as handling all special projects and communication with internal and external customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES includes:
• Coordinating with internal (SOUQ CS, FULFILLMENT, LOGISTICS) customers and external customers to resolve any issues or to arrange for special deliveries and special requests.
• To handle special projects for various customers and communicate all updates and progress via email, phone, and reports when needed.
• Ensures that consignment is shipped in the timeliest and efficient manner according to documented processes, including tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery.
• Ensures that shipment arrives and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
• Resolve customer problems & complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Verifies accuracy of physical inventory when needed.
• Provides logistical support to supervisor & Managers.
• Provide support for local area safety liaison as needed
