We are currently looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our Comspots’ team. The right individual for this role will be a motivated, creative and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work. This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
Own major projects and features from design phase to coding and testing; including site layout design and HTML implementation.
Develop high-quality, high-performance, beautiful, maintainable frontend and backend code.
Develop rich front end applications using modern technologies and techniques.
Find and help fix stability, scalability, performance issues, cross-browser compatibility, web standards, and interoperability.
Estimate engineering effort; plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of practical experience in web development.
* Programming using C# or PHP.
* SQL (NoSQL is a plus)
* Solid experience in using a MVC framework ( MVC, Rails or similar)
* Experience building web services (SOAP or REST).
* Develop front end applications using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Strong knowledge in jQuery.
* Experience with Angular JS or a similar JavaScript MVC framework.
* Responsive and mobile first design.
* Good knowledge of SEO and web optimization.
* Strong knowledge in IIS (or other web server)
* CMS knowledge and development is a plus (Drupal or other CMSs).
* Knowledge of web security best practices is a plus.
* Good knowledge of OOP programming and design patterns.
* Basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
* Good working knowledge of Photoshop and converting designs to html/CSS is a plus.
