- Develop and update the strategy, goals and targets of the Finance department.
- Develop milestones and plans for the finance department to achieve its goal.
- Develop the annual budget for the finance department and ensure cost and expenditure are within the set budget.
- Manage the implementation of the strategic initiatives, as applicable to finance, and communicate expectations to all individuals within the department.
- Manage the implementation and improvement of the finance guidelines, policies and procedures and ensure compliance across all departments.
- Provide accurate, comprehensive and timely information regarding the financial status of sector through the utilization of effective accounting concepts, principles, procedures and systems.
- Provide the financial analysis and explanations on sector’s growth, liquidity, financial stability, and profitability through the use of financial ratios and comparative figures
- Provide guidance and leadership to all department employees to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensure all employees recognize their fundamental role in the department.
