• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Regulators : Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and other Regulators.
• Develop and modify compliance and AML policies and procedures for carrying out the requirements of the applicable laws & regulations.
• Direct the anti-money laundry Unit and develop a Framework to it.
• Annual Report to the Executive Management, Board of Directors and Regulators.
• Develop and Implement a Training Program about Anti-money laundry.
• Follow-up with senior management to ensure corrective actions have been implemented for compliance risk issues
• Communicate and coordinate with relevant departments on anti-money laundering related issues.
• Conduct an internal anti-money laundering training sessions to staff on an ongoing basis to raise awareness and ensure all staff understands their responsibilities/obligations with regard to Compliance & AML Policies and regulatory/legal/statutory requirements. .
• Preparing and filing STR’s (Suspicion Transaction Reports) for suspicious transactions / accounts highlighted to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
•Cooperate with government agencies, including the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) and Courts and respond to their queries and information requests.
• Create a team of (AML) inspectors to make sure the company is comply with the rules and regulations.
•Maintaining strict follow up with the concerned branches and units to ensure timely submission of the required information (whenever necessary).
•Develop and promote risk-based tools/monitoring systems to maintain the AML related database for the company.
