1. Organise and control the movement and storage of goods from port of delivery to point of destination.
2. Responsible for contract development and administration with logistics service providers.
3. Plan logistics in collaboration with the Operation Manager and Shipping Officer.
4. Track movement of goods, plan timetables for distribution and delivery.
5. Monitor stock levels and supply daily updates.
6. Responsible for custom clearance, discharge of goods
7. Establish good relations with port and logistics agents and authorities.
8. Obtain cargo documents from Shipping Officer for custom clearance.
9. Manage compliance with export and import regulations.
10. Management of stock yard and associated logistics.
11. Negotiate transport contracts to best advantage and maintain a list of qualified and disqualified service providers.
