Job Purpose: Devise divestment strategies, identifying sectors and groupings of companies that might be viable business options.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Research market conditions and developments
2. Devise divestment strategies, identifying sectors and groupings of companies that might be viable business option
3. Conduct investigations into the financial and commercial start of companies subject to a particular transaction
4. Manage the divestment proposition
5. Work with corporate finance colleagues to provide advice on capital structure
6. Project manage transactions, overseeing the negotiation of terms.
7. Ensure all regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered
