Job Purpose: Devise M&A strategies, identifying sectors and groupings of companies that might be viable business targets.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Research market conditions and developments
2. Devise M&A strategies, identifying sectors and groupings of companies that might be viable business targets
3. Conduct investigations into the financial and commercial start of companies subject to a particular transaction
4. Carryout financial modelling, then develop and present appropriate solutions
5. Construct business ‘pitch book’ cases and present
6. Manage the implementation of a M&A proposition
7. Work with corporate finance colleagues to provide advice on capital structure
8. Project manage transactions, overseeing the negotiation of terms and developing proposals to raise funds
9. Ensure all regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered
