The Automation Technical Support Engineer will support a range of Gilbarco Veeder-Root automation products installed across Africa and the Middle East. The majority of support will be done remotely, however the role will require extensive local travel for trips which may last up to a week (depending on the situation).
Clients will be typically new system users and could be either distribution (transport), operations, or back office personnel.
To ensure the company’s and GVR’s needs are met, support engineer with liaise heavily with other members of the organization and colleagues from a range of departments.
