Job Overview
Manages the design, construction, commissioning and asset integrity program for the new ECOLAB blending and packaging facility in Saudi Arabia in a safe, sustainable and cost effective manner whilst ensuring that corporate guidelines for investment are respected. Takes full responsibility for all aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental compliance while performing these tasks
Main Responsibilities
•Coordinates the engineering projects with the Regional Engineering manager.
•Responsible for capital budget preparation and ensuring the projects are completed in timely manner whilst keeping the cost within approved budget
•Selects and manages contractors based on their safety record, performance and reliability
•Prepares and implements the safety induction procedure for contractors and other service providers.
•Responsible for maintaining and updating all site, utilities and equipment drawing and individual process P&ID’s and PFD’s. Provides as built drawings.
•Ensures that all equipment permits are available and renewal program is in place.
•Ensures the technical information for the site equipment and utilities is readily available and is up-to-date.
•Develops, deploys and implements plans to ensure best utilization of assets on site.
•Supervises and provide guidance on inspection and maintenance of assets.
•Responsible for implementing corporate Life Critical Procedures through local programmes and stewarding progress at a plant level.
•Responsible for the safe and environmentally sensitive operation while implementing new projects or scheduling routine Asset Integrity program
•Leads the innovation implementation on the site and ensures vertical start up
•Creates and implements plans to continuously improve site structure needs such as energy, water, treatment, steam and other infrastructures, contracts and contractors.
•Responsible for preparation of Safe Operating Procedures for inspection, maintenance and testing of the site equipment and services.
•Operates training programmes, which will ensure that all project and maintenance personnel are correctly equipped and trained to carry out their jobs safely and effectively.
