• Maintain communication with other departments and facilities. • Assist in planning policy procedure, goal, and objectives. • Maintain all necessary documentation and records. • Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with supervisors, managers, co-workers and/or vendors to the point that productivity and morale are positively affected. • Control and manage product distribution from the warehouse to restaurants, stores, and commissary. • Work with purchasing to control and manage product supply from our vendors to our warehouse • Managing inventory levels and inventory rotation. • Recruiting, orientating, training, evaluating and motivating all staff. • Creating a training program to insure continues on the job training. • Maximizing performance of staff through promoting atmosphere of co-operation and team work for all. • Communicating job expectations. • Planning, monitoring and appraising job results. • Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. • Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing company systems, policies and procedures. • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing Yum and Saudi Arabia health and safety policies and procedures. • Participating in report preparation, reporting, budget, budget implementation and cost controls. • Ensuring warehouse and logistics compliance with applicable Saudi, and Yum, regulatory requirement. • Contributing to team growth and effort through leadership and personal example. • Arranging the layout and display of the warehouse, including setting the locations of bins to insure maximum efficiency and FIFO. • Implement an automated WMS system in warehouse and distribution. • Storing of goods by category according to the nature of each item considering expiry, packaging, weight and volume to comply with the manufacturer and insurance requirements. • Responsible for all receiving from abroad and local. • Responsible for dispatching. • Responsible for all trucks including maintenance, upkeep and any breakage or accidents. • Responsible for all drivers delivering kingdom wide, follow up with them on the highway and solve their problems throughout 24 hours. • Setting a requisition and delivery schedule covering all stores Kingdom wide with continues updating to add new stores. • Insuring all deliveries done on scheduled date. • Managing the date entry operators. • Responsible for Physical inventory twice a year, and monthly cycle counts. • Insure the isolation of quarantined and expired products. • Regular contact with suppliers & Dry port to arrange receiving according to our coordination with local purchasing manager and clearance supervisor. • Updating the Director with operation status in our weekly meeting in addition to any daily issues. • Manage inventory controls, and Damage control. • Insure employee certification to operate forklifts, and heavy duty trucks. • Insure warehouse and trucks, organized, clean and pass Yum audits at all times. • Manage employee vacations to eliminate shortages of Labor an key individuals • Managing a product recall/withdraw program, and administering a mock recall twice a year. • Create a self Audit on warehouse and transportation twice a year. • Managing over 100 employees.
