Tasks and Duties
1 Investigate and recommend action plan where targets are consistently not being achieved.
2 Increase productivity and product quality by upgrading the work methods.
3 Establish and implement and effective cost reduction program.
4 Introducing innovations to improve overall machines efficiencies and utilization.
5 Production planning, product quality, inventory system and housekeeping and health and safety.
6 Ensure that appropriate training and development is always considered as a top priority.
7 Inform immediate superior of advances in plant and materials and trends.
8 Follow & implement various improvement methods and suggestions by immediate superior in all areas.
9 Submit all relevant reports required by the immediate superiors.
10 Work with all departmental heads as a team member to the best of company progress.
11 Improve communication within the section by holding discussions with subordinates & obtain feedback.
12 Ensure that company policies, and procedures for housekeeping, health, safety and quality are fully met.
13 Maintain close control of performance, efficiency and operating costs.
14 Report on departmental activities in an agreed format and a timely manner.
15 Be familiar with and abide by the company’s vision and key values.
16 Carry out similar or related works as directed by his direct superior.
