Sr Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (Safety Supervisor)
Raytheon Company is seeking a Safety Supervisor of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS). The Safety Supervisor will have responsibility for oversight of the day to day execution of the EHSS program at a site in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Supervisor shall report to the Safety Manager and shall ensure the proper implementation of all applicable Health & Safety (H&S) and Environmental & Sanitary (E&S) -related contractual requirements and expectations. This position will provide day to day direction and guidance to all personnel.
NOTE - This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities include:
· Acquire adequate resources to safely and effectively execute the work in accordance with the contractor safety administration requirements, applicable Customer safety, health and environmental (SH&E) regulations, and requirements, specifications and standards of the contract
· Manage and insure compliance to Customer, Raytheon and Industry Health & Safety, and Environmental & Sanitary requirements
· Conduct audits related to the proper implementation of all applicable health & safety and environmental & sanitary related contractual requirements and expectations
· Interface with Customer and Suppliers to schedule and perform required audits and complete required in-process and final inspections and test
· Monitor, track and report hazard identification and implementation of mitigation plans
· Implement a program to monitor, maintain and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Maintain safety records of accidents, injuries and near misses, fires, plant and equipment incidents, etc
· Provide support to Customer and Customer Representatives during the conduct of Customer performed audits
· Perform and/or support performance of incident investigations including root cause analysis, and overseeing the implementation of EHSS corrective actions
· Interface with all functions to insure injury and damage reporting is prompt, complete and meets program requirements, including performance of job safety analysis
· Perform training on company and contractual environmental, health and safety requirements
· Work with site teams to identify and drive implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
· Support/produce the collection and analysis of data, and generation of reports to track compliance to all environmental and safety requirements
This position can be an E03 or E04 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
