Spa Operation Manager - Rodana International

Job Scope:

• Ensure efficient operation of the Spa

• Under the general guidance and supervision of the Spa director ensure the highest standard of customer care and services at all time.

• Promotes the desired work culture around our Standards and the brand ethos



Key Job Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the spa and upkeep of the facilities and equipments

• Assisting the director in recruitment, interview, selection of all spa positions

• Managing multi-cultural staff

• Conducting regularly scheduled staff meetings and training workshops

• Implementing strategic plan for the facilities to exceed the guest expectations

• Developing written policies and procedures of all spa services

• Continuous evaluation of spa menu and service quality to meet client’s needs

• Creating and implementing a spa marketing plan

• Developing the spa business via corporate member schemes and promotions

• Reviewed and approved retail purchase plan, pricing and inventory control

• Conducting facility inspections and the daily operation of the spa

• Supervising and follow up on guest request and comments

• Maintaining a payroll process

• Implementing an effective cost control system

• Organizing individual review for coaching and development

• Promote the Spa by actively organizing internal and external promotional offers

• Encourage the promotion and sale of beauty products in conjunction with beauty treatments

• To take responsibility for products stock and room set up

• Develop and maintain positive links with Therapists/receptionist and spa team

• To assist in review of the annual budget and identify short term objectives to achieve targets



Self Management

• Comply with Resort rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook

• Comply with company grooming and uniform standards

• Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies

• Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self development

• To maintain the appropriate attitude and physique to reflect and promote the image of Pearl Spa







Customer Service

• Ensure staff have a full understanding of treatments and products

• Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:-

o Being attentive to guests

o Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests

o Understand and anticipate guest needs

o Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations

o Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints

o Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Spa industry

o Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all Spa industry in the region



Health Safety & Security

• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the Spa and treatment rooms

• Demonstrate an understanding and an awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

• Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures

• Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your line manager
