a. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production database systems.
b. Implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances, replication, backup, partitions, storage, and access granting.
c. Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods. As well as, set user privileges within the database environment.
d. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity and Database Consistency Checks. Experience in migration of Data from Excel, Flat files, and others using BCP utilities. Solid knowledge in system tables and system stored procedures using SQL.
e. Expert in Database Normalization, Optimization and Tuning, Backup/Restore, Data Import/Export, Troubleshooting, Database Objects authorization, Objects Creation such as Tables, Views, User created Data Types, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Cursors and Triggers.
f. Strong in technical writing.
