Retail Outlet In-Charge - Sotra

The main role of this position is to optimize store sales and profitability. To manage saleswomen, cash register operations and inventory. Also, provide customers with a positive shopping experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plans and supervises store operations by scheduling and assigning employees

2. Applies marketing strategies

3. Ensures top quality of customer service

4. Authorizes the return and alteration of products

5. Assists saleswomen in selling products to customers during rush hours

6. Maintains sufficient inventory and ordering merchandise

7. Preparing reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

8. Maintain Saleswomen by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

9. Maintains Saleswomen job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

10. Implements security systems and measures to store as addressed by sales and marketing manager.

11. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.

12. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

13. Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing personnel policies and procedures.

14. Executes store displays.

15. Advising customers on their purchases

16. Ensures merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.

17. Maintains inventory and ensure items are in stock.

18. Keeps up with fluctuating supply and demand.

19. Ensures hours of operation are in compliance with local laws.

20. Helps retail sales staff achieve sales targets.

21. Handles customer questions, complaints, and issues.

22. Performs any related task as required by the Retail Sales Supervisor

Operations Manager - Sotra

The Operations Manager will be responsible for day to day operations, managing the organization’s HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the CEO this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organizations financial and operations functions. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. The Operations Manager must ensure smooth operation of various processes that contribute to the production of goods and services of an organization. To support management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as development agreements with international brands, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinates, manages and monitors the workflow of various departments in the organization

2. Reviews financial statements and data

3. Utilizes financial data to improve efficiency

4. Manages and increases the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (i.e.: HR, IT and Finance)

5. Prepares and control operational budgets

6. Carries out a program for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis

7. Overseas inventory control and validation

8. Leads marketing management

9. Recommends effective strategies for the financial wellbeing of the organization

10. Improves processes and policies in support of organizational goals

11. Formulates and implements departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output

12. Monitors adherence to rules, regulations and procedures

13. Monitors, manages and improves the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accounts and Finance

14. Facilitates coordination and communication between support functions

15. Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity

16. Implements and manages operational plans

17. Oversees organizational insurance policies

18. Ensures health and Safety committee meetings are held and tasks assigned

19. Oversees the operations and processes of the productions

20. Ensures sustained growth, focuses on achieving/ surpassing sales targets

21. Expands business reach and proactively creates new sales leads/ opportunities

22. Expands channel business by sourcing new partners as well as maintains efficient business relationships with existing partners to enhance profitability of business operations

23. Builds and maintains excellent relationships with colleagues and clients

24. Oversees overall performance of the company in relation to the commercial cycle “i.e. sales, collection and credit policies, trade margins, and profitability”

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and implement the Admin Strategy and action plan for the Company ensuring that the skills, knowledge and attitude of staff are developed in line with business objectives.

2. Provide an advisory and consultative service on all aspects of employment law and practices to executive management and all managers, ensuring that the Company complies with all legal requirements and best practice.

3. A strong leadership and team management skills are necessary required.

4. Develop and implement an advance procurement process and producer.

5. Lead the development and growth of event management, organizing VIP meeting & conference.

6. To develop and manage the security and safety functions in the organization.

7. Work collaboratively to initiate a new tools and channels across the Company to ensure continuous improvement of the administration function, working to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Maintain awareness of changes in employment regulation law, government policy (GOSI, MOL &MOI etc.) and emergence of best practice using this to provide strategic advice to colleagues on effective use of human resource and all organizational development issues.

9. Ensure the best service for western employees accommodation, travel, hotels and company cars. .

Qualifications and Experience:
