Job Purpose
To Lead S&OP process coordinating with sales, purchasing and production and generate effective and efficient production plan. Ensure R&P availability by close monitoring of MRP, capacity constraints. Strictly follow company stock holding policies and successfully deliver final products to achieve overall company objectives.
Key Accountabilities
1. Play a key role as a link between sales and production to convert sales f/cast into final production plan.
2. Improve Demand Plan Accuracy by challenging sales forecast, setting up base line, taking into consideration seasonality, marketing activities etc.,
3. Coordinate closely with marketing to achieve excellence in execution of all new launches and promotions.
4. Conduct and lead weekly meeting with all factory managers and align on weekly production plan.
5. Generate and share all the relevant KPIs to monitor the performance and take necessary action to improve the performance.
6. Lead end to end S&OP process and provide all the necessary information in executive S&OP meeting for timely decisions by management.
7. Make sure that accurate MRP figures are sent to purchasing to enable him to source all the R&P requirement as and when required.
8. Participate in the annual budgeting process, by providing long term capacity analysis for the production lines.
9. Work with Plant Managers to develop and maintain a model or other analyses to analyze and forecast capacity constraints for each manufacturing facility on a short term and long-term basis.
10. Identify issues and recommend solutions/alternatives relating to new product launches, including planning, logistical and execution matters as related to the company’s existing characteristics.
