Their remit is to successfully provide Project & Construction Management (PMCM) services for the implementation on the cutting edge, world-class Riyadh Metro project:

Project Scope:
RMTC has been awarded two of three PMCM packages by ArRiyadh Development Authority (ADA) covering lines 1, 2 and 3 of metro system. This deal includes nearly half of all engineering services for the new six-line system - a total of 104km and 55 stations. Over 1,000 people will be required to work in Riyadh to complete RMTC’s portion of the work.
The RMTC primary project scope is to provide world-class PM and CM global expertise by delivering an operable transport system within a short project timeline, within budget, and fully compliant with the ADA’s and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s operational, quality, and sustainability requirements. RMTC will validate studies, oversee and coordinate construction work, accept engineering structures and approve pre-commissioning tests
Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Electrical (Design) Engineer, the Electrical (Design) Engineer will be part of a specialized technical group that is responsible for the technical design reviews related to MV/LV electrical management systems on the Riyadh Metro project.
The key responsibilities will include the assessment, review of conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs and related structures including underground, at ground and elevated stations, tunnels and other transportation-related Buildings.
Key Responsibilities
• Reviewing the design equipment layout such as LV Switchboards, MCC Switchboards and Automatic Transfer Switchboards (A.T.S.)
• Reviewing design, Installation & Laying of L.V. Cable lighting, small power low current cable, fire-alarm, BMS system, earthing and lightning protection system
• Reviewing the prepared cable sizing calculation, cable raceways calculation, cable correction factors, short circuit and voltage drop analysis
• Reviewing the develop Lighting Illumination Level table analysis using DIALux/AGI32 software or any other lighting program.
• Reviewing design riser & single line diagrams, circuiting and interconnection diagrams of Low Voltage System
• Reviewing the prepared cable load schedule, termination drawing, and shop drawing details
• Calculating the Electrical Load using NEC Standards & Local Body Regulations
• Reviewing Electrical Engineering layouts, plans, and specifications based on the national building code, NEC 2008 code and RC (Royal Commission) standards
• Reviewing & commenting on Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, RFIs etc. submitted by Contractor
• Reviewing & Approving Contract E&I Design Specifications & Approved Manufacturer List
• Coordinating the design with other engineering service disciplines and draughtsman
• Overseeing Witness Factory Acceptance Test of MV/LV & MCC Switchboards at manufacturer’s fabrication plant prior to delivery
• Actively taking part in Startup Testing of all equipment’s, main switchboards including testing of interface control to ATS Switchboards, Standby Generators & Fuel distribution systems, Fire-alarm, Fire Pumps and BMS Systems
• Preparing job related presentations and reports as required
