Sales Support Engineer

Responsible for supporting external sales activities which includes responding customer needs about products, spares and service requirement via preparing quotations, handling sales orders and tracking opportunities with customers. Utilizes specialized technical/product knowledge to sell and promote products and/or services. Responsible for assisting Sales team to support sales activities, gathering new enquiries and answering technical queries/clarification

• Work with Territory Sales Leads and customers directly to identify customers need through telephone contact and emails,
• Enter and track all opportunities daily basis,
• Prepare sales quotations for F&B and P&E spare parts in line with customer enquires
• Proactively Track and follow up aftermarket opportunities with agencies and traders directly to provide efficient support Sales Team
• Responsible for informing Sales Team of price fluctuations and making database pricing updates
• Cooperate with Application Engineering/Project team to develop install data based and identify spare parts requirements
• Review and identify F&B products / service requirements in line with product data sheets, scope of work and customer specifications, gathers necessary information coordinating and cooperating with other departments (factories, sub suppliers and F&B team) to formulate timely responses and to propose price offers.
• Sizing and selection of Food & Beverage standard products (i.e. pumps, homogenizers, sanitary heat exchangers) using design selection program. Preparing cost calculations as per customer requirement and project specifications
• Work in cooperation with Projects teams and Service Team Lead to prepare costing and sales quotations for service opportunities
• Provide technical support to respond to customer technical queries/clarifications
• Receives and initiates processing of sales orders for hand over to finance and supply chain.
• Maintains files of required records and documents associated with sales proposals/sales orders.
• Support sales activities via directly contact with agencies and traders to gather enquiries, follow up status of sales quotations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide appropriate feedback and reports as per business requirement to improve business target.
• Primary focus on Aftermarket and Service Support activities
