The General Manager will lead the group’s staff to achieve the targets and milestones in the business plan. Reports to the Managing Director, initially with 8 direct reports and 37 total reports, covering Sales, Operations, and Administrative staff, with a fast growth track.
Qualifications: Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or fluid dynamics specialization preferred), 10+ years of experience in industrial flow control (pumps, valves, fluid treatment, or process control), and proven track record of general manager role.
Principal tasks and duties include P&L responsibility including:
• Building partnership agreements
• Facilitating the sale and execution of large contracts to the target customers
• Building an organization (hire, train, and develop staff) and manage direct and indirect reports
• Managing key account relationships at the executive level
• Developing competence and group specialization in certain types of equipment
Works with other SBUs and Interfaces with OEMs, solution providers, and customers.
