Position Purpose:
• Setup the Quality Management Section in the IT department, by putting all of QA procedures, processes, and standards, and fulfilling a high standards of QC in software development by implementing best practices and tools.
Tasks / Responsibilities
• Develop, document, and implement applicable QA procedures, processes, and standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain appropriate test documentation including Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases
• Develop quality assurance strategy to ensure application highest level of quality.
• Implement testing tools to verify test cases meets the functional requirement specifications
• Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards.
• Ensure examination and execution of code in various environments.
• Operate and maintain test environments.
• Maintain database of software defects.
• Provide application instructions for users (IT/Business).
• Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
• Manage the software deployment process across the different environments.
• Manage Test Environments (SIT & UAT) user’s access for all applications
• Train peers and subordinates on the QC testing tools and provide guidance.
