Responsibilities include inbound shipping of raw materials, outbound shipping and shuttles, scheduling and organizing orders. Must effectively communicate with both Plant Supply Chain, Corporate Supply Chain, customers and carriers. This position will oversee the efficient operation and inventory of the plant, outside storage facilities and yard. Position plays a big role in the organization of the warehouse and work flow. Position will maintain inventory based on FIFO and assist in preventing customer service issues. This position will be responsible for delivery on KPIs for warehousing and cost control. Other duties include timely processing of orders, accuracy of pick-ups, quantity of pick-ups per employee and providing resources for cycle counts. Additional responsibilities include: - Coordinate transportation carriers and performance through the utilization of TMS. Ensure all scheduled shipping and receiving appointments are timely and in support of production and customer requirements. - Must be familiar with OSHA guidelines for forklift use and general warehousing and insure these regulations are in place and enforced. - Ensure warehouse operations are appropriately staffed and employees are properly trained and certified to execute their duties.
