•Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of WAS Migrations.
•Serves as a technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions.
•Works on installing, configuring and administering new and existing WAS ND cells in support of the project work across multiple platforms.
•Responsible for resolution of WebSphere and web server problems and determination of root cause.
•Automation of manual install tasks to increase efficiency in WAS builds.
•Installing, configuring and supporting Web based business applications.
•Perform advanced root-cause analysis for related incidents, problems, and enterprise improvements/integrations.
•Perform day-to-day administration support of middleware technologies as required.
•Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for middleware support.
•Follows all middleware administration, Change, Release, Incident, Problem, Security, and Configuration Management processes, policies, operating plans, and mandates.
•Perform day-to-day management tasks as assigned.
•Shares knowledge with team members to ensure a well-trained and qualified staff.
•Completes tasks assigned and project work within scope, priority, timelines, and budget.
•Continually increases knowledge of middleware
•Establishes working relationships with the business and applications analysts and management.
