Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will provide leadership and be a resource in health related matters, develop systems and policies, analyze, train, and promote health and safety awareness and loss prevention for all Barrick Cortez employees and contractors. Develop, evaluate, and coordinate IH initiatives by closely following AIHA’s Comprehensive Exposure Assessment process. Implement, evaluate and maintain site IH standards, policies, and programs. Develop and instruct on IH and MSHA topics with all employees including new hire, annual refresher and toolbox training sessions as required. Collect, maintain, and analyze data using various methods of inferential statistics. Maintain records, develop reports, and engage stakeholders in all matters related to industrial hygiene with a strong directive to control occupational health hazards. Manage Medgate, DSSAC, QuestSuite, and other IH computer applications. Other duties as assigned.
