Job Purpose:
• Supervising and controling overall activities of finance department staff to ensure they perform their responsibilities professionally.
• Ensuring overall provision of effective financial accounting (accurate, timely, improvement, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitoring the Cash Flow & approval of payables (Cheque approval).
• Planning, monitoring and controlling the budget preparation.
• Presenting the Budget Approval and communication of Quarterly and Monthly Plans.
• Arrangement of funds required for the business.
• Finalizing the write off (bad debts) with the management.
• Ensuring the provision of effective purchasing systems, processes and records.
• Providing financial planning and reporting systems, and support to all departments.
• Ensuring that all records are adequately created and maintained in order to ensure compliance with requirement of local laws and accounting standards.
• Providing efficient and effective inventory management control.
• Keeping a close watch on all costs to ensure minimum of wastage and max. profit opportunity.
• Preparing / assisting in preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balance adjustments and closing entries.
• Establishing and maintaining accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
• Ensuring the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Creating and encouraging the involvement of team members within the department’s affairs.
• Exhibiting effective training skills and providing job training and performance feedback to subordinates.
