Description of the job
For Cassidian in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia / Riyadh within the "SIE Rollout" department we are looking for a BGDP Rollout
Operations Manager. Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management of the Roll-out Operations Organization in KSA, covering the customer needs of large Border Guard development
projects (BGDP)
- Responsibility for on time, on quality and on budget performance of the Domain Roll-Out
- Responsibility for the comprehensive roll out chain including prefit & staging, installation, commissioning and acceptance test
execution (V&V) for a high-end distributed IT-system (high-end sensors, command & control IT structure, IP- communication)
- Lead several sub domain teams of implementation service specialists for the BGDP projects (30-80)
- Disciplinary responsible for the entire roll-out team including delegation to sub-domain heads
- Generation of reliable timelines, staffing plans, cost estimations, and ensuring that the projects meet the needs of the customer
- Providing inputs to risk registers including risk management strategies; takes responsibility of such strategies
- Providing requirements to all relevant stakeholders (engineering, ware house, transportation, data management, …)
- Ramp up a highly skilled team of implementation service specialists according to staffing plan and schedule
- Support other domains by providing respective input and requests and follows up inputs from other domains
- Monitor all activities inside the roll-out team with support of the PMO organization
- Manage technically all required subcontractors (. rigging)
- Improve constantly the processes required to perform the associated tasks
- Make day-to-day decisions and be accountable for all activities performed by the team
- Participate and represent Roll-out in BGDP board
