- Oversee, manage and evaluate the performance of all Design departments and coordinate their work
- Supervise the development of design policies, standards and processes
- Oversee development of buildings design specifications
- Oversee development of design prototypes
- Review progress reports submitted by Detailed Design Oversight teams at regional offices to ensure overall alignment to TBC’s design standards
- Ensure that necessary technical support is provided upon request to project teams in regional offices during execution and commissioning to address constructability issues
- Support project scoping during tendering phase
- Prepare the budget of Design department
- Support the Project Delivery Executive Vice-President’s participation in management committees and Board meetings by providing advice and insights on various project delivery decisions as requested
- Propose the Design objectives and KPIs for endorsement by Project Delivery Executive Vice-President
- Perform any other duties as determined by the Project Delivery Executive Vice-President
