Reporting to Engineering Team Leader, the Draftsman is responsible for utilizing computer-aided design systems to create, modify technical drawings which incorporate the inputs of design engineers.
The ideal candidate should have significant hands-on drafting skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops design drawings and specifications for mechanical parts/structures by using computer-aided drafting equipment
• Establishing liaison with engineers in order to understand the nature of the project
• Incorporates instructions and comments onto drawings
• Performing calculations using engineering formulas and skills
• Lays out and draws schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines
• Reviewing the drawings and make necessary improvements in order to set a standardization among them
