1. Participate in drilling project bidding.
Study bidding book in detail and give engineering suggestion;
Take part in the preparation of tender proposal;
Track and manage drilling contract.
2. Monitor and coordinate drilling operation.
Monitor the daily drilling progress and attend meeting initiated by Client;
Collect drilling data and carry out full engineering analysis;
Compile drilling related reports, such as weekly report, monthly report, well completion report and review well completion report from the point of engineering view.
Coordinate with Clients to ensure smooth drilling operation.
Assist in water well tickets review with Client.
3. Ensure down hole safe operation.
Make comprehensive analysis of engineering data, drilling data, and geological data, distinguish the potential down hole problem;
Provide engineering advice to technical personnel to insure a normal down hole condition;
Analyze down hole incident, share lessons to prevent the same incident from reoccurrence.
4. Assist with HSE management.
Take part in HSE inspection, assist in resolving HSE issues related to the drilling project from engineering aspect;
Make sure adhering to environmental protection standards, in some cases through direct discussion with local governments to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
5. Participate in the existing technology assessment and introduce new technology that can improve drilling efficiency.
6. Draft drilling project management policy, procedures together with other personnel.
7. Complete other task assigned by line manager.
