Position Title: Financial Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Analyzes financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
-Conducts general analysis of finance reports, obtained from various departments such as sales, marketing, purchase, production, communication etc.
-Monitors and reviews accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
-Interprets data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.
-Determines new and effective techniques for financial planning for NITI
-Maintains knowledge and stays abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory.
-Contributes to the preparation of business presentations and briefing papers for the senior management and the Executive Director.
-Conducts compliance activities such as revenue assurance, support to tax, compliance and cost assurance.
-Provides inputs to ad hoc and special projects within the Finance team and the business as required
-Reads financial statement of NITI and takes into consideration sales, expenses and production cost and recommends investments and forecasts future earnings for the organization.
-Prepares plans of action for investment based on financial analyses and presents the same to the Finance Unit Supervisor.
-Determines the prices at which securities should be syndicated and offered to the public
-Keeps abreast with the latest trends and techniques in the field of financial analysis
-Keeps abreast of international economic and monetary data trends and identifies trends which may affect NITI
-Invests temporarily surplus funds, develops and implements investment policies and drives cash forecasting and reporting.
-Provides professional and technical expertise for the analysis and solutions of complex financial problems
-Develops short and intermediate term cash forecasts for both corporate and trustee requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required
-Additional certifications such as MBA, CA, CPA preferred
-A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field of financial analysis, preferably in a nonprofit sector.
