The ID works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain the information to be taught and organize it into logical, instructional patterns appropriate to end users experience based learning. ID should have experience of application of adult learning instructional design to the technology industry preferably educational institutions. The Instructional Designer (ID) will design and develop learning solutions including but not limited to web/computer-based learning, instructor-led, blended instruction and virtual sessions.
Analyze instructional design project requirements and work with PM around scope and solution. Using common tools and templates, design and develop learning deliverables in line with project scope
Develop training materials associated with the project including instructor guides, participant guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams and pictures, job aids and self-study materials
Collaborate with subject matter experts, PM and others to: Create storyboards and design specifications to be used as blueprint instructions for content development
Work with different types of input material to create instructional content. Apply various Instructional strategies, models and theories to content. Use templates in developing instructional materials
Visualize Content and work with Graphic Designers in the development of Graphics, Animations etc.
Knowledge of courseware development tools such as Captivate, Articulate Presenter, Lectora etc
Desired Profile: Graduate in Science, Engg, IT, MBA
At least 4-6 years experience in developing different training product types, ILTs/vILTs, WBTs, Job Aids, and QRCs. This includes ability to: Research, analyze, design, develop, customize instructional materials for WBT(Web Based training)/CBT(Computer Based training)/ILT (Instructor Led Training)
